Here's a little bio...

  I was born on none other than a Tuesday on May 11, 1981. If you thought my parents thought their first-born daughter, Kayla Anne Cairon had a fair face; you would have to think again. Due to my mother’s inexperience in giving birth, I was born with a bruised face and a pointy-head to which my exasperated father exclaimed after I was delivered, “I have such an ugly daughter!” hehehe…Go figure.

  A driving force in my childhood was my dad’s involvement in the military. I think the fact that I had to move around a lot while growing up helped me to learn how to make friends quickly and develop my social skills. My father was active duty in the Navy for over 25 years so I guess you could call me a true, blue Navy brat! I didn’t really despise the fact that we moved almost every three years. I think that’s where my love for travel comes from. I’ve gotten to see many exotic locales like Japan, Korea, and of course the homeland, Philippines, and have met so many cool people that I still keep in touch with today.

  Little Kayla, or La-La, which I was affectionately know as when I was a child, was a lively, energetic and sometimes spoiled little girl. I guess not much has changed! I was always considered a chatty one and often got in trouble for talking too much in class. You should see the comment spaces on my report cards they all pretty much said the same thing…"Kayla is an intelligent girl and a joy to have in class, but that mouth of hers…(yada, yada, yada)"

  As I got older, I put my energies toward getting good grades and my list of extra-curricular activities. Dance (ballet, tap, jazz, modern, Filipino cultural), piano, voice…the list goes on. In high school, my list of lessons I took turned into involvement in several school organizations. I showed my leadership skills by being Vice-President of both the National Honor Society and the Asian Club and I also did some lacrosse playing and cheerleading for a hot second! As you can see, I like to keep my life and any guy that wishes to be a part of my life has got to learn how to keep up!

  Now, that I’ve zoomed through my life, I guess I’m now at the present day! Right now I just graduated from college with a double degree in Communication and Political Science. Brains and beauty, no doubt! On the horizon I plan on going to law school, taking control of my love-life (or lack thereof), and...oh, yah…finally getting this modeling thing off the ground! "So many things, so little time" ...as the old cliché goes…So, that’s my life so far…in a nutshell!
