I was born in Boston, Mass but raised in Augsburg, Germany and Huachuca City, AZ. Growing up in cultured places definitely played a role in my creativity. From early o­n I showed passion for art and performing. Living in a small town is pretty boring, so I spent most of my time in dance and acting classes and in after school art programs. I was always the shy girl that didn’t have many friends, but when it was time to perform I really broke out of my shell.

When came to move to the east coast I was really excited, because I always wanted to try out for a Broadway play and go to a performing arts school. Moving east meant easy access to New York. So I was magically whisked away to…………Delaware? I know what your thinking, Delawhere? I’ve been asked many times why we moved to Delaware, but the o­nly good reason I can think of is tax-free shopping.

So instead of getting down about it, I decided to take the opportunity focus o­n my education and the arts. Almost as soon as I moved I ended up going into foster care and all my opportunities seemed to go down the drain. So I took a break from everything that I loved (dancing, singing, acting and writing) and focus o­n making the best out of a difficult situation. But so far I’ve done really well.

After my 18th birthday I went into a transitional living program for ex-foster care youth. I’m very proud to say that I’m the first graduate. So o­ne thing that I’ve always focused o­n is giving back to people that helped me. Someone really close to me told me that “the best way you can give back, is to make something out of yourself and don’t forget where you came from.” That is the main reason that I want to become successful, to give back.

I got into modeling by accident. I began to research the modeling world because my main career goal is fashion design. I picked model muses for my collections in my clothing line and began to memorize everything from names, companies, agents, and anything else that dealt with modeling. After a while I started to miss performing. I had had 10+ years of training in ballet, modern, acting and other things and wanted to find a new outlet. So I found a photographer who was starting out too, and I was hooked!

I’ve been modeling for a short time, but so far this is what I’ve accomplished: Candi Couture (handbag advertisement), 2006 Fantasy World Calendar, Lowrider Magazine (coming soon), Mix tape covers in the UK, Peer Pressure Racing Promo Model, Hot Import Nights (M-Lounge), and there will be much more to come!

My goal with modeling is to be very successful so that I can branch off into other careers. There are no limits in what I can do or what genre of modeling I’m going to portray (pin-up, urban, Goth, high fashion, fitness, commercial). I would love to be a true chameleon and have the most diverse portfolio possible.

Outside of modeling my goals are to have a successful launch o­n my clothing line in 2006 (Ash Arnwine), work o­n my music and stay true my musical roots, appear in edgy indie films, write a book o­n foster parenting, and to start my own scholarship for foster care youth exiting the system
