The first pictures I ever took where thanks to my father. He took some classes at a school in when I was growing up and I got to tag along. I learned by watching him and emulating what I saw him do. He gave me my first camera a Pentax 35mm SLR when I was a junior in high school. I used it at the local vocational school to take pictures of friends and ladies I thought where quit. Over the years I took pictures o­nly as a hobby till late 2002 when a band my mother manages wanted pictures taken. That was when I got the idea that I could make money from taking pictures. I started taking pictures more and more to build my technique and strengthen my photographic eye.I did my first full solo wedding in 2005. Prior to that I took pictures for an organization called The Network in Springfield Illinois they put o­n plays and poetry readings in.I have done pictures for a few local hip hop artists and other musicians. My most recent works have been of local ladies wanting to be models and for my college new paper. Since starting with the college paper I have gotten to take pictures of Senator Barak Obama and other famous people. I have sense gone from being a general photographer to more of a model / journalistic photographer. Even though I have narrowed my field of photography I still like doing nature shots.
