I was born in VA, but raised in Jacksonville (Atlantic Beach), FL.. I graduated from the University of North FL with a Bachelor's degree in Communications / TV Broadcasting and a minor in Psychology. I am an AFAA-Certified Group Exercise Instructor and PADI-Certified Open Water Scuba Diver. I love snorkeling, sky-diving, gourmet-cooking, gardening, sewing/knitting, and experimenting with acrylic paint o­n canvas. I enjoy listening to all types of music except for really twangy country music. I specifically like alternative rock, Jazz, and Classical music. There are two things I have yet to experience and would love the opportunity to do so soon -- (1) Visit Greece (which I'll be doing next year!) and (2) Learn to snow ski.

I have two sisters and o­ne brother, all of whom are younger than me, married and have children. I have two children -- a 15-year-old daughter and a 2.5-year-old son. My husband is a pilot with the U.S. Navy. My family (nuclear and extended) is my number o­ne priority. Nothing else matters without their love, respect, and support. Sometimes, people don't learn the importance of family until it's too late. I happen to be o­ne of the lucky o­nes (big smile).
